They will get their hands on devops technology but that is not the background they want coming in. They are looking for candidates strong with Scripting, ITIL, Windows, Unix, supporting applications and systems. When they have downtime they will assist with DeVops project and get their hands on more of that technology. Production Support Analyst This role covers the day-to-day DevOps of Compliance, HR and other Corp Tech applications working in collaboration with various Corp Tech Technology teams, Operations team (DBA, Unix, Storage etc.) Security Team (ISM, Data Masking etc.) and closely working with Business users for successful day to day Operations and Maintenance of various applications under the team supervision. The role will suit a self-starter who is looking for a career in Dev Ops, Infrastructure and production support and takes pride in making difference to support the business-critical processes and day to day production issues and challenges. Responsibilities: Understands effects of IT Architecture on production performance, tuning queries, AutoSys batch job scheduling/monitoring etc. Responsible for Production issues, Infrastructure build projects, weekly Change management process and actively participate in BCP events. Identifying problems, crafting and aiding in implementing the solutions, and providing continuing support Perform Impact analysis of the reported issues or risks and try to find root causes and solve the issue by going through the business and systems workflow Create, update, amend relevant production support documentation (Runbooks, SLAs, Issue Tracker, Change Tracker etc.) Provide weekend and on call late night support related activities on rotation basis Requirements: 6-8 years of experience Strong experience with Windows & Unix ITIL required Python, Shell, or Perl scripting required Banking experience preferred Experience in Supporting applications running in Java, WebSphere, Tomcat, Unix, RHS, Windows, SQL, Batch Job Processing (AutoSys), Scripting Knowledge of any one language(Shell scripts, Perl/Python), Messaging (MQ Series), Reporting(Cognos/Qlik). Experience in Excel Macros, ITIL background, Oracle ODI or Any ETL tool a plus. • Experience in IT Delivery/Control/Process/Traceability/Audit/Security is a plus
