Our partner is looking for a Product Line Manager - Fiber Optics based in the United States United States. This role is a strategic product leadership position responsible for shaping and driving the growth of a high-performance fiber optics portfolio serving telecom, data center, industrial, and mission-critical connectivity markets. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from market strategy and roadmap definition to new product introduction and commercialization. The role requires deep technical expertise in fiber optics and transceiver technologies, combined with strong commercial acumen to identify growth opportunities and improve portfolio profitability. You will work closely with engineering, suppliers, sales, marketing, and operations to translate market needs into differentiated, high-impact solutions. The position plays a central role in accelerating innovation, expanding market share, and ensuring rapid time-to-market for new connectivity products. It is a highly visible role with direct influence on revenue growth, product strategy, and customer engagement. The environment is fast-paced, technically sophisticated, and strongly focused on execution and innovation. Accountabilities: Own the product strategy and roadmap for the fiber optics portfolio, including transceivers, cabling, and connectivity solutions across key markets such as telecom, data centers, and enterprise. Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive gaps to build strong business cases and drive portfolio expansion. Lead end-to-end new product introduction (NPI) processes, including requirements definition, supplier engagement, validation, pricing, and launch execution. Develop and maintain short- and long-term product roadmaps aligned with innovation, revenue growth, and margin expansion objectives. Drive pricing strategy and profitability optimization through financial modeling, cost analysis, and supplier collaboration. Serve as the subject matter expert for fiber optic technologies, including emerging trends such as high-speed optical transceivers and next-generation connectivity solutions. Partner with sales, marketing, engineering, and operations to ensure successful product launches and strong market positioning. Represent the product line in customer engagements, industry events, and strategic discussions with key stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Business, or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred. 10–15+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or technical business development within fiber optics or related connectivity industries. Strong technical expertise in fiber optic systems, transceivers, and high-speed networking technologies. Proven experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and successful new product launches in competitive markets. Strong commercial and analytical skills, including pricing strategy, financial modeling, and revenue forecasting. Ability to engage with customers and translate market insights into actionable product requirements. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams. Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
