Job Description This is a remote position. Mate / Engineer – 30m Sailing Yacht Location: Italy (yard) → Mediterranean & Caribbean Start Date: ASAP Salary: DOE We are seeking a Mate/Engineer to join a 30m Sailing Yacht currently based in Italy. This is an exciting position for a hands-on, proactive candidate with strong engineering expertise and solid sailing experience. The Role: You will play a key part onboard, supporting both deck operations and engineering systems. The yacht will cruise the Mediterranean with the owner in June/July, followed by a yard period in August/September to prepare for a winter season cruising the Caribbean. Requirements Requirements: Proven experience in a similar Mate/Engineer or dual-role position Strong engineering knowledge (hands-on and problem-solving focused) Confident and experienced in sailing yachts Team player with a proactive and flexible attitude Relevant certifications (STCW, ENG qualifications preferred)
