We’re working with a growing and well-backed technical service provider delivering specialist aftermarket support across Europe. As part of their continued expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the Benelux region. This is a home-based role, ideally suited to an engineer based within this area but willing to travel. The Role You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of industrial print and coding equipment across a range of manufacturing and production environments. Key responsibilities include: Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support Fault-finding across mechanical, electrical, and control systems Installation and commissioning of industrial print and coding equipment Providing technical support and advice to customers on-site Maintaining accurate service reports and documentation You’ll be working independently day-to-day, representing the business on customer sites and building strong working relationships. What We’re Looking For We’re keen to speak with engineers or technically minded individuals from industrial print, coding, packaging, automation, or related technical backgrounds. This could include experience with: Videojet Domino Printing Sciences Markem-Imaje Linx Digital print systems Inkjet technologies CIJ, TIJ, laser, print-and-apply, labelling or workflow systems Industrial print, packaging, mailing, converting or production equipment We would also be interested in speaking with candidates from technical prepress, print workflow, applications, or production support backgrounds who are looking to move into a more technical customer-facing role. You’ll likely have: Previous experience within print, packaging, industrial equipment, or technical production environments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills A customer-focused, professional approach The ability to work independently and manage your own workload Excellent spoken and written English language skills, as you will report into the UK team A full driving licence and willingness to travel across the region EU working rights – sponsorship is not available What’s on Offer €45,000 – €60,000 annual salary depending on experience Company vehicle (personal use) + fuel card Door-to-door pay Overtime opportunities Pension, life assurance, and sick pay Up to 33 days holiday (including public holidays) Ongoing technical training and development All tools, equipment, and resources provided Additional Information Monday to Friday role Home-based with daily travel Approx. 35,000–50,000 km per year Flexibility required depending on customer needs This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business investing heavily in technical support and expansion across Europe, offering long-term development within the industrial print and coding sector.
