Role Description This is a full-time, remote Principal Consultant role responsible for leading complex Salesforce-based transformations for municipal and county clients. The Principal Consultant will work closely with public sector stakeholders to understand business objectives, map current processes, and design pragmatic solutions that improve citizen services and internal operations. Day to day, this role will lead discovery workshops, translate requirements into functional designs, oversee configuration and integration work, and guide cross-functional project teams from initial scoping through deployment and adoption. The Principal Consultant will serve as a strategic advisor on topics such as digital engagement, legacy system modernization, data consolidation, and change management in municipal environments. This role will also contribute to refining MuniPaaS implementation methodologies, mentoring consultants, and supporting pre-sales efforts, proposals, and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading end-to-end Salesforce or comparable cloud platform implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration oversight, and deployment.
• Strong consulting skills in stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and translating complex business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of public sector or local government operations (e.g., permitting, licensing, inspections, public works, 311/citizen services, or case management).
• Proven track record managing large, multi-phase projects with structured methodologies, clear milestones, risk management, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to navigate public-sector realities such as procurement processes, council or board approvals, and legacy system constraints.
• Experience guiding change management, including communication planning, training strategies, and driving user adoption in complex organizations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including process mapping, data analysis, and designing AI-enabled or automation-driven workflows.
