The Role
You will be responsible for defining how enterprise-scale cloud platforms are architected, modernized, secured, and scaled within an environment embracing modern AI-enabled engineering workflows and intelligent automation.
Working closely with executive leadership, architecture teams, and global engineering organizations, you will help shape cloud strategy, platform architecture, modernization initiatives, and engineering foundations that support long-term scalability and continuous evolution.
This role requires deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, platform scalability, distributed systems, infrastructure modernization, DevOps ecosystems, and enterprise-grade reliability.
What You Will DriveEnterprise Cloud Platform Architecture
- Architect and evolve large-scale, cloud-native enterprise platforms
- Design scalable multi-tenant distributed systems and platform ecosystems
- Define modular cloud architectures with strong scalability and resiliency foundations
- Lead modernization initiatives from legacy infrastructure to modern cloud-native environments
- Ensure systems are designed for reliability, observability, security, and continuous evolution
Cloud Modernization & Platform Engineering
- Drive enterprise cloud transformation and modernization initiatives
- Build highly scalable infrastructure and platform engineering foundations
- Define CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud governance strategies
- Establish best practices around containerization, orchestration, and distributed systems
- Improve platform scalability, operational efficiency, and engineering velocity
AI-Enabled Engineering Foundations
- Enable engineering environments that support AI-assisted software development and operational workflows
- Build structured cloud and platform interfaces that support intelligent automation systems
- Help define scalable architectures compatible with AI-enabled engineering ecosystems
- Support evolving development paradigms involving intelligent agents and automation workflows
Architecture Governance & Reliability
- Define architecture standards, governance models, and cloud best practices
- Ensure strong focus on scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, and operational excellence
- Establish frameworks for observability, monitoring, performance optimization, and security
- Guide enterprise-wide cloud architecture decisions across multiple teams and platforms
Leadership & Technical Direction
- Mentor senior engineers, architects, and platform teams
- Partner with executive leadership, product, security, and engineering organizations
- Help build high-performing global engineering and cloud platform teams
- Drive technical strategy aligned with long-term business and platform goals
Experience
- 12+ years in software engineering, cloud engineering, or platform architecture
- 5+ years in senior technical leadership or architecture roles
- Experience as a Principal / Lead / Enterprise / Cloud Architect (or equivalent)
- Strong experience building and modernizing enterprise-scale cloud-native systems
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and scalable SaaS platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP ecosystems
- Expertise in Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and DevOps ecosystems
- Strong understanding of API design, integration architectures, scalability, and cloud security
