Position Summary: Axonius Federal Systems (Public Sector) is seeking a seasoned Account Executive (SLED- West) to drive expansion across State, Local, and Education accounts throughout the U.S. In this role, you will be responsible for building a robust business pipeline and selling the Axonius Security Asset Management platform across a wide range of SLED verticals. You’ll design and execute a territory strategy rooted in a proven ability to exceed sales goals, leveraging business development, partner networks, and technical expertise to win high-impact opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Build and execute a territory sales strategy across State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts, driving sustained pipeline growth and revenue attainment Develop a strong business pipeline and manage opportunities through the full sales lifecycle to close Engage stakeholders across IT, Security, Risk, and Operations, while effectively communicating business value to senior leaders and executive decision-makers Leverage established relationships across the SLED ecosystem, including resellers, system integrators, and strategic partners Partner closely with Axonius engineering teams to deliver compelling platform demonstrations and guide customers through proof-of-value (POV) engagements Navigate public-sector procurement processes, budget cycles, and competitive landscapes, positioning Axonius Federal Systems (Public Sector). to solve critical customer challenges Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: 8–10 years of experience selling enterprise cybersecurity software solutions into SLED (State, Local, or Education) markets Proven track record of building pipeline, managing a disciplined sales process, and consistently achieving or exceeding quota Experience engaging both technical and executive stakeholders, including IT, Security, Operations, and senior leadership Established relationships within SLED organizations and across the partner ecosystem (resellers, system integrators, OEMs) Strong understanding of SLED procurement processes, funding mechanisms, and competitive dynamics Ability to travel up to 50% Preferred Qualifications: Experience presenting complex cybersecurity solutions through live demonstrations and leading successful proof-of-value (POV) engagements Strong competitive awareness of the cybersecurity landscape within SLED and ability to position solutions effectively Axonius Federal Systems is committed to fair and equitable compensation packages.
