We're looking for a People Specialist who knows Dutch labour law inside out, keeps HR administration tight, and doesn't wait to be asked before spotting a problem and fixing it. π² π How you pedal us forward: Own HR administration and payrolling for the Netherlands, ensuring accuracy and timely execution at every step. Be the knowledge owner for Dutch labour law, proactively tracking changes, translating them into practice, and keeping the business compliant. Advise employees and managers on local HR topics, legislation, and Swapfiets policy. Handle individual employee matters and manage communication with external parties: UWV, tax authorities, payroll providers, unions and employer associations. Review and improve HR processes and systems (we work with HiBob and Remote) to keep things running efficiently. Take end-to-end responsibility for People Operations in the Netherlands. Support, guide and coach your People Specialist colleagues, coordinate HR projects, and act as a proactive challenger and advisor to our Centers of Excellence. Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison with country managers, Finance, Tech/ Data teams and external stakeholders to maximize your impact. The gear you need: Fluent in Dutch and English. A Bachelor's degree, preferably in HRM, Law, or a related field. 3β5 years of experience in an HR operations role. Solid, up-to-date knowledge of Dutch labour law, and the drive to keep it that way. A track record in accurate, structured HR administration; you get the details right without being asked twice. A proactive mindset: you flag issues early, take ownership, and follow through.
