Responsibilities • Coordinate month-end closing activities related to payroll for multiple entities in France. • Validate and control payroll data from an accounting perspective (provisions, payroll elements, anomalies). • Reconcile data between HR systems and accounting systems. • Generate, review, and validate accounting batches before posting. • Analyze personnel costs and their impact on financial results. • Cooperate closely with finance, accounting, and controlling teams. • Support internal and external audits, including French regulatory bodies. • Perform SOX controls and ensure proper documentation. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in systems and accounting interfaces in cooperation with IT. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimization. • Act as a subject matter expert in payroll-accounting related projects and system changes. Requirements • 3–5+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, or HR operations (preferably SSC/BPO environment). • Practical knowledge of French payroll and basic accounting principles. • Experience with audits and controls (SOX is a strong asset). • Knowledge of HR/Payroll systems (e.g., SAP HR). • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data. • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and take ownership. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Fluent French (C1 level minimum) is mandatory & good command of English (B2).
