RTI International seeks a prospect for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment Internship within the Health Solutions business unit. The Health Solutions' Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment (PCOA) Team provides a comprehensive set of services to capture the patient voice in clinical trials, observational research, and clinical practice. What You'll Do Internship Learning Objectives: Develop ability to critically evaluate scientific publications Receive training on how patient experience influences drug development Grow knowledge in the US drug approval process The Intern will support research efforts focused on how data science can enhance qualitative analysis and creating a case study of COA data being included in approved drug labeling. Responsibilities include: Carry out review of approval documents within FDA public database Assist with qualitative data review Create a slide-deck presenting results in the form of a case-study What You'll Need Additional Information: The virtual paid internship will take place from June 2026 through August 2026. The internship requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible during business hours, Monday through Friday. RTI's Internship Program emphasizes experiential and mentored learning experiences. Interns are exposed to the institute’s mission to improve the human condition through projects, professional development trainings, and networking. Program participants have opportunities to engage with staff and fellow interns virtually and in-person.
