About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our Parts Department. This role is responsible for ensuring technicians and internal departments receive the correct parts in a timely manner, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate inventory processes. The successful candidate will work closely with Service, Pre-Delivery, and Warehouse teams to support the efficient operation of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
• Interpret and source parts requested by technicians and internal departments
• Order parts accurately and efficiently to meet operational requirements
• Respond to phone enquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Support the Service Department with the timely supply of required parts
• Liaise effectively with the Service, Pre-Delivery, and Warehouse teams
• Assist with internal business requirements as needed
• Unpack stock orders and maintain a clean, organized parts department
• Receive and process incoming parts orders, branch transfers, and supplier deliveries
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
• Complete additional duties as directed by management

Essential Experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive dealership parts sales and parts interpreting
• Experience working within a dealership parts department environment
• Knowledge of automotive parts identification and ordering processes
