We are now looking for a driven and relationship-focused Partner Manager – Shopify Agency & App Ecosystem to help us grow our partner network, build meaningful relationships with Shopify agencies, app partners, consultants, and ecommerce experts, and turn partnerships into a strong growth channel for Wiser.
About the Role
As Partner Manager, you will own and grow Wiser’s partnerships with Shopify agencies, ecommerce consultants, technology partners, and ecosystem influencers.
This is a high-impact role for someone who understands the Shopify ecosystem, enjoys building long-term relationships, and knows how to turn partnerships into qualified leads, merchant referrals, co-marketing opportunities, and revenue growth.
You will work closely with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to make Wiser a preferred recommendation app for Shopify agencies and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with Shopify agencies, freelancers, ecommerce consultants, and app partners.
- Identify high-potential partners who work with Shopify and Shopify Plus merchants.
- Create a strong partner pipeline and turn partner relationships into merchant referrals, demos, app installs, and revenue opportunities.
- Develop partner enablement materials, including pitch decks, demo flows, use cases, comparison points, and onboarding resources.
- Train agency partners on how to recommend, implement, and position Wiser for their Shopify clients.
- Work with agencies on co-marketing campaigns such as webinars, newsletters, case studies, LinkedIn posts, events, and partner announcements.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to support partner-referred merchants from introduction to activation.
- Build relationships with complementary Shopify app companies for integration partnerships, bundle offers, content collaborations, and referral opportunities.
- Represent Wiser in Shopify ecosystem events, partner communities, webinars, and ecommerce networking opportunities.
- Track partner performance, referral pipeline, conversion rates, revenue impact, and partner engagement.
- Bring market feedback from partners and merchants to help improve Wiser’s product positioning and partner program.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, channel sales, agency partnerships, partner management, or ecosystem growth.
- Strong understanding of Shopify, Shopify Plus, ecommerce agencies, and the Shopify app ecosystem.
- Existing relationships with Shopify agencies, ecommerce consultants, or SaaS/app partners will be a strong advantage.
- Experience generating leads, referrals, or revenue through partnerships.
- Ability to confidently explain a SaaS product and its business value to partners and merchants.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working with targets, partner pipelines, CRM tools, and performance metrics.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable building a partnership function with ownership.
- A growth mindset and willingness to experiment with new partner channels, campaigns, and collaboration formats.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working with a Shopify app, ecommerce SaaS company, or Shopify agency.
- Knowledge of upsell, cross-sell, product recommendations, personalization, CRO, AOV growth, or ecommerce retention tools.
- Experience running partner webinars, agency referral programs, co-marketing campaigns, or event partnerships.
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Pipedrive, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace.
