Position Overview Navi Education is seeking knowledgeable, thoughtful, and student-centered College Admissions Consultants to join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly with middle and high school students and their families, helping them navigate the highly selective college admissions process with clarity and confidence. Our consultants serve as mentors, advisors, and coaches, guiding students through academic planning, extracurricular development, college list creation, application strategy, essay development, and other aspects of the admissions journey. Position Details Position Type: Part-Time Location: Remote Compensation: Starting at $60/hour Schedule: Flexible, with approximately 3–5 hours per week to start; opportunities for additional hours and growth based on performance Key Responsibilities Guide middle and high school students through the college admissions process Develop individualized admissions strategies tailored to each student's goals and interests Advise students on major identification, academic course selection, extracurricular involvement, leadership development, and summer opportunities Help students build balanced and strategic college lists Support students through application planning and timeline management Provide feedback on personal statements, supplemental essays, and other application materials Conduct virtual meetings with students and families Maintain clear and professional communication with students, parents, and Navi Education staff Stay informed about trends and developments in college admissions Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree from a highly selective university Graduate of a Top 20 U.S. university (or similarly selective institution) Deep familiarity with the selective college admissions process Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to build rapport with students and families from diverse backgrounds Preferred Prior experience in college admissions consulting, counseling, advising, tutoring, mentoring, or education Experience working with middle school or high school students Familiarity with admissions at highly selective colleges and universities Experience reviewing application essays and supporting students through the application process What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Passionate about education and student development Empathetic, encouraging, and relationship-oriented Strategic and knowledgeable about selective college admissions Professional and responsive in communication Able to provide honest, thoughtful guidance while helping students maintain perspective throughout the admissions process To Apply: Please send your resume and a brief statement describing your educational background, experience working with students, and interest in college admissions consulting to [email protected] .
