Company Description Marsan Akguc Law Firm is a U.S. immigration law firm based in Newport Beach, California, serving clients across all 50 states. We are seeking an experienced Asylum Paralegal to join our team remotely from Turkey. This is a full ownership role — you will manage asylum cases from start to finish, not just complete individual tasks. ⚠️ This position requires a minimum of 1 year of hands-on U.S. asylum case experience. What You Will Do Prepare asylum applications (Form I-589) and all supporting documentation from start to finish Draft client declarations based on interviews and case materials Organize and review evidence, country condition reports, and supporting documents Assist with Immigration Court filings, hearing preparation, and case strategy support Communicate with clients to collect documents, provide updates, and assist with interview preparation Track deadlines and manage multiple active case files simultaneously Identify missing pieces in files and proactively resolve issues before they escalate Maintain accurate and organized digital case files in our case management system What We Are Looking For Minimum 1 year of hands-on U.S. asylum case experience — this is a strict requirement Full professional fluency in both Turkish and English required Must be available to work California hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM PT (18:00 – 02:00 Turkey time) High level of ownership — able to manage cases independently without constant supervision Detail-oriented with strong organizational and deadline management skills Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace Degree in law or a related field preferred — non-lawyers with relevant experience are welcome to apply What We Offer A growing, structured firm with clear workflows and real career growth potential Collaborative team that values accountability, quality work, and strong client outcomes Real responsibility — full case ownership, not just repetitive tasks Fully remote from Turkey — work with a U.S. immigration firm serving clients across all 50 states How to Apply Please send your resume and a short note on why you are a good fit to: [email protected]
