Salary:
We’re offering a range of $1,500-$3,000. Your final compensation will be based on your skills, experience and how well you perform in assessment and interview phases.
Overview:
As the Outreach Manager at Freight Genie, you will be responsible for leading the SDR team to hit and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs. You will coach and train SDRs, manage performance, run daily check-ins, and ensure high-quality outreach that converts into meetings for our clients.
This role requires a mix of leadership, sales expertise, and hands-on involvement. You will be the driving force behind the team, guiding new hires, improving scripts and objection handling, monitoring KPIs, and stepping in proactively when performance drops.
If someone’s falling behind, you won’t wait for the numbers—you’ll jump in, coach, role-play, and help them get back on track. Average effort won’t cut it here; we measure results, growth, and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard, train, and mentor new SDRs to ensure they are fully prepared to meet performance expectations.
- Coach underperforming SDRs with targeted improvement plans, role-plays, and hands-on guidance.
- Lead morning huddles, weekly coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Maintain accountability for team KPIs—booked meetings, call volume, show rates, and lead quality.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine scripts, outreach strategies, and objection-handling frameworks.
- Set clear expectations and ensure adherence to daily operational standards (including stay-back hours if KPIs are not met).
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment and consistent execution.
- Maintain a positive, motivating culture that encourages teamwork, high output, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience of 3+ years in sales leadership, team management, or SDR coaching.
- Proven track record of training, mentoring, and improving SDR performance.
- Strong understanding of high-volume outbound calling and appointment setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build a positive culture while enforcing high performance standards.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment.
