Oracle Database Administrator (with German)

Oracle Database Administrator with German Contract type: B2B We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with German and strong expertise in managing and supporting mission-critical Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security and reliability of Oracle databases across complex enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities: Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle database environments (on-premise and/or cloud). Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations. Configure, manage, and support data replication solutions using Oracle GoldenGate . Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting (SQL tuning, AWR, ASH, OEM). Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN. Ensure database security, data integrity, and compliance with internal policies and industry standards. Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and application teams to support business-critical applications. Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting and automation tools (Shell, PL/SQL, Python, Ansible). Maintain accurate documentation of database environments, configurations, and procedures. Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments. Strong expertise with Oracle Database versions 12c, 19c, or later . Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, patching, upgrades, and complex database migrations. German language proficiency (spoken and written) is required. Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture and performance optimization. Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus. Strong scripting skills (Shell, PL/SQL; Python preferred). Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is a plus.
