About The Role
What Will You Do? ๐ฆพ
Your mission will be simple:
make sure our go-to-market machine runs smoothly.
You will work at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Leadership, helping teams stay aligned, ensuring information flows effectively, and supporting the operational backbone of a fast-growing company.
- Own and improve our GTM processes: As Smartness grows, processes naturally become more complex. You will be responsible for helping our commercial organization operate efficiently by continuously reviewing and improving workflows across Sales and Customer Success. You'll identify bottlenecks, spot communication gaps, and help create scalable ways of working that allow teams to move faster while staying aligned. You'll also ensure that process changes are properly documented, communicated, and adopted across the business.
- Drive cross-functional alignment: One of the biggest challenges in a growing organization is ensuring that information reaches the right people at the right time. You will act as a bridge between teams, helping coordinate initiatives, align stakeholders, and ensure everyone is working from the same playbook. Whether it's a process change, a strategic initiative, or an operational update, you'll help make sure communication is clear, consistent, and actionable.
- Become the operational backbone of our CRM ecosystem: CRM sits at the heart of many of our commercial processes, and you'll play a key role in making sure it remains accurate, reliable, and useful. You'll help maintain data quality, monitor workflows, support process adoption, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve how teams use our systems. You'll also develop a strong understanding of our broader GTM tech stack and how different tools interact to support the business.
- Bring structure to complexity: Not every project comes with a predefined roadmap. You'll help bring clarity and organization to ambiguous situations by coordinating activities, tracking progress, following up on commitments, and ensuring nothing important gets lost along the way. You will help transform ideas into repeatable processes and create visibility across ongoing initiatives.
- Enable operational excellence across the business: Your impact won't be limited to individual projects. You'll contribute to building a more efficient organization by improving internal communication, supporting operational initiatives, analyzing workflows, and identifying opportunities to make teams more effective. Success in this role means helping people spend less time dealing with operational friction and more time creating value for customers.
What Are We Looking For? ๐
- A strong cross-functional collaborator: You know how to work with different stakeholders, navigate competing priorities, and build alignment across teams. You are an excellent communicator who understands that operational excellence often depends on ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
- CRM and systems proficiency: You have previous experience working with CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce or Hubspot, and understand their importance in supporting commercial teams. You are comfortable working with data, maintaining system accuracy, and understanding how different tools and integrations support business operations.
- A process-oriented problem solver: You enjoy creating order where there is complexity. You naturally identify inefficiencies, communication gaps, and opportunities for improvement, and you take ownership of finding practical solutions. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Someone who is both strategic and hands-on: You enjoy thinking about how processes should work, but you're equally comfortable executing them. Whether it's reviewing CRM data, documenting workflows, coordinating projects, or following up on action items, you're happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the details.
- Experience in Operations, Enablement, or similar functions: You have at least 2 years of experience in roles such as Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, GTM Operations, Sales Enablement, Project Coordination, or similar positions where process improvement, stakeholder management, and operational execution played a central role. Experience in SaaS or high-growth technology companies is a strong plus.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments: You enjoy working in ambitious environments where things move quickly. Change doesn't overwhelm you - it energizes you. You can adapt, prioritize effectively, and maintain high standards even when juggling multiple initiatives.
- Fluent in English & Italian: You are comfortable communicating professionally in English & Italian, both written and spoken.

- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and impact. For our Revenue Management team, we typically offer an OTE package ranging from โฌ38,000 to โฌ45,000 annually, depending on experience, analytical capabilities, industry knowledge, and expected contribution to the companyโs growth. Our compensation structure is designed to reward ownership, strategic thinking, and measurable business impact. As you grow within the company and contribute to revenue optimization, pricing strategy, and operational performance, your compensation can evolve accordingly. For candidates demonstrating exceptional expertise or a strong track record in revenue management and commercial strategy, we may consider compensation packages beyond the standard range.
