Operations and Tutor Experience Assistant, Crimson Rise Apply Now Join Crimson Rise as a Operations & Tutor Experience Assistant! With a presence in 28 countries and a team of 700+ professionals, we connect over 3,000 tutors and mentors with students aiming for admission to top universities or career pathways around the globe. The Role You will be the operational engine behind Crimson Rise — keeping student onboarding on track, tutors allocated and performing, and systems running smoothly. You will work closely with our Head of Operations and Strategists, and be the first responder when something needs fixing. This is a support role, not a systems design role. You will be handed tools, SOPs, and trackers that already exist. Your job is to run them reliably, flag issues early, and improve processes where you see the opportunity. What You Will Own Student Onboarding and Service Setup Onboard new students within 1 business day of enrolment across the Crimson App and Slack Coordinate with internal teams to resolve missing materials and meet families for technical setup Maintain the Onboarding Tracker and flag any SLA risks to the Head of Operations Tutor Matching and Quality Assurance Allocate and reallocate tutors in collaboration with Strategists based on student needs Monitor engagement, track session utilisation rates, and follow up with disengaged contractors Run structured session quality spot-checks and communicate policy updates to tutors Tutor Capacity and Hiring Forecast tutor capacity needs across Rise course types and flag gaps to leadership Coordinate hiring requests to maintain a reliable pool covering all active subjects and markets Support ongoing refinement of tutor onboarding and management SOPs Technical and Systems Support Troubleshoot student-facing tech issues with the Crimson Tech team Manage service transfers end to end: equivalent service identification, permissions, notifications, and new contracts Maintain Google Apps Script automations, support data integrity across platforms, and flag errors proactively What We Are Looking For Experience 2-4 years in operations (education or EdTech preferred) Experience supporting contractor or tutor networks is a strong plus Technical Skills Strong Google Workspace fluency: Sheets (formula work), Docs, Drive Comfort with Google Apps Script — able to read, debug, and adjust existing scripts SQL for data queries is a plus Comfort with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Copilot, or similar) Working Style Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex logistics across multiple threads Clear, timely, professional communication with teams and contractors Proactive by default — you spot issues before they become escalations Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and systems are still maturing Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Success in This Role Means New students begin services swiftly, with minimal delays or friction Tutors consistently meet expectations and satisfaction among students, families, and Strategists is high Data records are clean, accurate, and up to date The Rise mentor pool is known for dependability and high-quality delivery Automations and trackers run reliably, with issues flagged proactively Why Crimson Fast-growing global company across 28 markets with real scope to grow Flexible working with high ownership and low bureaucracy A culture of Radical Candor: direct feedback and genuine development A team genuinely invested in student outcomes Please keep an eye on your spam/junk folder!
