Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an Online Philippines Tutor in Mathematics and English. The tutor will conduct live, interactive online sessions for school-age learners, focusing on building strong foundations in core math topics and English language skills. Daily responsibilities include planning engaging lesson activities, delivering one-on-one or small-group classes, assessing student understanding, and providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. The tutor will maintain accurate records of attendance and progress, communicate regularly with parents or guardians as needed, and collaborate with the Codeyoung team to follow established curricula and teaching guidelines. The role requires consistent availability during agreed-upon time slots and a reliable online setup suitable for video-based instruction. Qualifications Strong subject knowledge and instructional skills in Mathematics and Algebra suitable for K–12 learners. Proficiency in Online Tutoring and Tutoring methods, including managing virtual classrooms and engaging diverse learners. Excellent Communication skills, with clear, patient, and age-appropriate explanations in English. Access to a stable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and necessary hardware (computer, webcam, headset). Prior experience teaching or tutoring children or teens in Mathematics and/or English is highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in Education, Mathematics, English, or a related field is an advantage. Ability to work with learners of different backgrounds and abilities in a respectful, inclusive manner. Strong organizational skills, reliability in scheduling, and comfort with basic online learning platforms and tools
