About the Role:

The OneTrust Implementation Lead is responsible for the configuration, implementation, and ongoing operation of clients’ OneTrust instances in support of VeraSafe’s privacy and data governance work. This role is responsible for translating legal, compliance, and operational requirements into practical system workflows, supporting internal stakeholders and clients, and helping ensure that OneTrust processes are effective, consistent, and well adopted.
Key Responsibilities:
OneTrust Implementation and Administration
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of OneTrust modules and related workflows
- Translate business, legal, and compliance requirements into practical OneTrust configurations
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and external support resources, as needed
Privacy Program Support
- Support privacy operations through OneTrust workflows, including areas such as assessments, data mapping, consent, DSARs, and vendor/privacy reviews, as applicable
- Advise on privacy and data governance processes to help ensure they are workable, consistent, and aligned with client needs
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting, and platform adoption
Project and Stakeholder Management
- Manage implementation workstreams from requirements gathering through launch and post-launch improvement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders during implementations and enhancement projects
- Coordinate across legal, compliance, security, IT, and operations teams to keep projects moving and aligned
- Communicate clearly about project status, risks, dependencies, and next steps
Documentation and Process Improvement
- Create and maintain implementation documentation, process maps, training materials, and internal guidance
- Support the development of standard approaches, templates, and best practices for OneTrust-related work
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 OneTrust certification
- Experience with multiple OneTrust modules or related privacy technology tools
- 3+ years of relevant experience in privacy operations, data governance, compliance operations, legal operations, or SaaS implementation
- Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or administering OneTrust
- Strong understanding of privacy program workflows and related regulatory requirements
- Experience gathering requirements and translating them into practical system or process solutions
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across legal, compliance, operational, and technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment
- Familiarity with privacy areas such as DSAR management, consent management, data inventories, assessments, and vendor/privacy review workflows
- Relevant certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, FIP, AIGP, CISA, CRISC, or similar
- Experience developing SOPs, training materials, or implementation playbooks
- Experience mentoring junior team members or leading cross-functional workstreams
