About The Role What if your red team instincts and adversarial thinking could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about cybersecurity threats? We're looking for Offensive Security Analysts to analyze real-world attack paths, model adversary behavior, and help build the training data that powers frontier AI systems. This role is about structured adversarial reasoning — not exploit development. You'll work with realistic attack scenarios, think through how threats move across systems, and articulate where defenses fail and why. No zero-days required. Just deep, practical knowledge of how attacks actually unfold. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze attack paths, kill chains, and adversary strategies across realistic production environments Classify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and defensive gaps with structured, reasoned explanations Review and evaluate red team-style scenarios and intrusion narratives for accuracy and completeness Generate, label, and validate adversarial reasoning data used to train and evaluate cutting-edge AI systems Clearly articulate attack chains, potential impact, and security tradeoffs in written form Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments at your own pace Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in pentesting, red teaming, or a blue-team role with strong offensive knowledge You understand how real attacks unfold — from initial access through lateral movement and impact You can explain complex attack chains clearly and concisely to technical audiences Naturally analytical and methodical — you think in systems and spot the gaps others miss Strong written communicator who can document adversarial reasoning in structured formats Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision Nice to Have Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, or OWASP Experience with threat modeling, attack surface analysis, or security architecture review Background in CTF competitions, purple teaming, or security research Prior exposure to AI tools or data labeling workflows Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN, or equivalent practical experience Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI projects alongside world-leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work Make a tangible impact on how AI understands and reasons about real-world security threats Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
