About The Role What if your instinct for thinking like an adversary could directly shape how AI understands cyber threats? We're looking for Offensive Security Analysts to analyze real-world attack paths, adversary behavior, and defensive failures — helping train and evaluate the AI systems that will define the next generation of cybersecurity. This role is focused on structured adversarial reasoning, not exploit development. If you can map how threats move through systems, identify where defenses break down, and explain risk clearly — this role was built for you. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze attack paths, kill chains, and adversary strategies across real-world production environments Classify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and defensive gaps with structured, expert-level reasoning Review and evaluate red-team style scenarios and intrusion narratives for accuracy and depth Generate, label, and validate adversarial reasoning data used to train and benchmark frontier AI systems Clearly articulate attack chains, business impact, and security tradeoffs in written form Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in pentesting, red team operations, or a blue-team role with deep offensive knowledge You understand how real attacks unfold — from initial access through lateral movement and impact You can explain complex attack scenarios clearly, concisely, and without jargon when needed Naturally analytical and structured in your thinking — you model threats systematically Comfortable working independently on task-based assignments without close supervision No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, the Cyber Kill Chain, or PTES Experience writing red team reports, threat models, or adversarial scenario documentation Background in cloud security, Active Directory attacks, or network intrusion analysis Exposure to AI tools or data labeling workflows Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN, or equivalent Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside world-leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, high-impact work Apply your offensive security expertise to a rapidly growing field at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
