About The Role What if your adversarial mindset and attack intuition could directly influence how AI understands and reasons about cybersecurity threats? We're looking for Offensive Security Analysts to model real-world attack scenarios, trace how threats move through modern environments, and help build the adversarial reasoning datasets that train and evaluate cutting-edge AI systems. This is not an exploit development role. It's about structured thinking — analyzing kill chains, identifying where defenses break down, and clearly articulating how risk propagates across complex systems. If you've spent time in pentesting, red teaming, or hands-on blue team work and can think like an attacker, this role is built for you. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic attack paths, kill chains, and adversary strategies across modern production environments Identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and defensive gaps in simulated and real-world system scenarios Review and evaluate red-team style intrusion narratives and adversarial scenarios Generate, label, and validate adversarial reasoning data used to train and benchmark AI systems Clearly explain attack chains, potential impact, and security tradeoffs in structured formats Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in pentesting, red teaming, or a blue-team role with strong offensive knowledge Deep understanding of how real attacks unfold in production environments — not just theory Able to map adversary behavior clearly and explain it to both technical and non-technical audiences Naturally analytical and methodical — you see systems the way attackers do Strong written communicator who can document findings with precision and clarity Comfortable working independently on task-based assignments without hand-holding Nice to Have Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, or STRIDE Experience writing threat models, attack narratives, or red team reports Background in cloud security, network security, or application security Prior exposure to AI security, adversarial ML, or security data labeling Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN, or similar Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside world-leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work Apply your offensive security expertise to a genuinely novel and high-impact domain Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
