The Nomex® and Kevlar® Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for managing our Sales team in the following market segments Automotive & Industrial, Energy Solutions and Aerospace. The RSM will lead sales activities for Nomex®, Kevlar® and our newest technology platform Kevlar® EXO™. The sales team engages with direct customers, downstream indirect customers and in some markets downstream key end-users eg Boeing. The RSM will report directly to the North America Sales Leader and work closely with several highly collaborative business teams comprised of sales, marketing, technical and product management all focused on specific markets. Responsibilities: The RSM will lead their team to Plan and Execute on regional market segment sales strategies to deliver revenue and earnings targets. Develop and manage a robust pipeline of business opportunities to achieve short and medium term goals. This will include sales opportunities with existing direct and indirect customers and creating pull-through from downstream customers. In addition, this will include business development in new target verticals. Recruit, develop and motivate the sales team, including consideration of succession Enable a Commercial Excellence culture that supports the team to provide excellent customer engagement, drives new opportunities to close and building pride in their professional roles. Develop and lead the execution of a robust C ustomer Engagement Plan leveraging all elements of our broader organization. Champion the customer in our organization and ensure market insights and needs are understood. Work collaboratively with three N. American Market Segment teams (Automotive and Industrial, Energy Solutions and Aerospace). Operate in a “three in a box” model with the Regional Market Leader and the Regional Technology Leader to drive faster and customer centric decision making. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Business or similar 5+ years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development or Marketing Proven ability to identify, develop new business opportunities and drive to close. Proven ability to coach, develop and lead a team History of commercial excellence and ability to coach others. Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Approximately 50% travel (role can be home-office based with travel from home location to client locations) Preferred Qualifications: Relevant experience in selling of high-performance materials in related industries Experience working with complex value chains; working with both direct but also downstream customers including OEM/ user level.
