As a member of our New Client Analytics Team (NCA), you will be responsible for working with newly contracted clients to set up data feeds and processes to produce standardized financial, quality, and productivity reporting for health systems across the entire revenue cycle. The NCA team is critical to successful new client implementations as R1 is an analytics driven organization. Working with teammates in many different departments, the NCA team has a broad but direct impact on client engagements. As R1 continues to grow, the NCA team’s role will also expand and will be counted on to ensure quick and effective implementations. Day-to-day Work Includes: Data Acquisition & Report Creation - Work with client resources to set up and QA data feeds for revenue cycle data and load data to R1 servers. Plan, create and deliver time-sensitive ad-hoc report requests. Analysis - Summarize and include findings from analysis in reports distributed to Operations and leadership team for decision support. Data Modeling – Acting as an expert for Health Information Systems data models. This includes sources for data elements, table linkage, primary and foreign keys, and validation points. Quality Assurance - Develop and implement validation standards for data transfer/loading and report creation. Working in the client host system to validate data and reports. Advising other analysts on improvements to their processes (SQL Code, quality checks, data understanding, etc). Process Improvement – Ownership of improving data quality, data ingestion, speed to implementation, and all other data processes. You have: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Public Health, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or other healthcare related disciplines preferred. At least 8 years of experience working in an analytics role with complex datasets. Expert in Health Information Systems, Epic preferred. Expert in SQL on any platform, including Snowflake/T-SQL/Microsoft SQL Excellent Microsoft Excel and Power Bi skills Exemplary analytical and critical thinking skills Experience with data ingestion and database tools preferred. This includes Astronomer Airflow, Data Bricks, MS Azure Blob Storage, SSIS packages and SSRS reports using Microsoft BI tools and SQL Server. Experience with owning data models and managing changing requirements of the data model is preferred. For this US-based position, the base pay range is $50,461.00 - $114,114.48 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
