National Events Manager
Work Schedule - Full-time (average 38–40 hours per week). Core hours Monday - Friday, with flexibility required during peak periods and events (Dec - May).
Location: Remote (Perth-based is ideal), with on-site national tour commitments.
Remuneration Package - The package will depend on experience. A performance-based bonus structure may be available for the right candidate.
About Dawnbreak
Dawnbreak is looking for an experienced Event Manager to help deliver and scale our Sunrise Silent Disco events across Australia.
Dawnbreak creates high-energy, unique, sober sunrise experiences that bring together music, movement, community, nature, and culture. Our events take place in iconic outdoor locations and are designed to feel uplifting, welcoming and unforgettable.
Dawnbreak is at an exciting stage in its growth, with sell-out events, multiple interstate tours, never-before-done event formats, and national/international expansion on the horizon. We are looking for a passionate person to join the Dawnbreak family.
This is a key leadership role for someone who loves events, thrives in fast-moving environments, is passionate about community impact and knows how to turn big creative ideas into safe, smooth, scalable event experiences.
About the Role
The Event Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end operational planning, coordination, delivery, and review of Dawnbreak events.
You will manage the practical details that bring Dawnbreak events to life, including council approvals, site plans, suppliers, staff, safety, event logistics, run sheets, budgets, bump-in, live-event operations, and pack-down.
You will work directly with the Founders / Directors and play a major role in supporting Dawnbreak in continuing to offer unique, sober-focused, community-driven, impactful sunrise events.
This role involves being a part of a larger movement, building the systems, standards, and processes that allow Dawnbreak to grow into a national event brand.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Delivery
You will lead the operational planning and delivery of Dawnbreak events from start to finish.

You will manage Dawnbreak’s event approval process and help maintain strong relationships with councils, venues, landowners, and key authorities.

Tour & Growth Operations
You will help plan and deliver multi-city tours and new event formats.

Supplier, Staff & Equipment Management
You will coordinate the people and resources required to deliver Dawnbreak events at a high standard.

Safety, Risk & Attendee Experience
You will help ensure Dawnbreak events remain safe, welcoming, and enjoyable as they grow.

You are highly organised, calm under pressure, reliable, practical, and proactive. You are the type of person who can stand in the middle of a busy event site at 4:00am, lead the team, solve problems, and keep the energy positive.
You understand that great events require both operational discipline and emotional intelligence. You care about the tiny details, but you also understand the bigger picture. You know how to manage people, timelines, budgets, councils, suppliers, and moving parts without losing sight of the attendee experience.
