AMICUS RECRUITMENT has one of the best opportunities for a proven National Account Manager in the marketplace within sales and within the FMCG sector! This is a 'bold' statement to make but i can fully stand behind it ! Why? It is the people in the Business and the genuine collaborative culture of the business led by a fantastic Country Manager- Eddie- who is a great guy ; been with the business for over 15 years and leads by example . I have been fortunate to place 3 people in the business in the last 8 years with my client- ( 2 of whom I placed over 8 years ago and both Kate and Matt are still there ! ) and due to a promotion , they are now looking for a switched on; proven National Account Manager to join the Business - who will report in to both the Commercial Controller Maria ( who is also really personable and an excellent operator) and Eddie. ( A plus to the role, is that 80-90% of the role could be done remotely- although the head office is based in Dublin West, some of the Team are located in various parts of the country ( indeed one of the Account Managers lives in Sligo- on average there is a requirement be on site 2- 3 days per month- and that is not a typo ! yes 2- 3 days per month in the office) Although they were bought over by a huge PLC; there is still a family feel to the Business and importantly ; they trust their staff- some of whom have been with the Business for a very long time. There is a genuine; positive feel to the company with flexibility in working from home. They are well liked by their customers and have over 50% market share with some of their customers ! the pace of the business is relentless ( its fresh produce) and their business focuses on margin and volume and delivering on bottom line profit. To succeed in this role you must be ethical in approach; take ownership and work well with people in various functions- from Finance; to NPD to Production. If you are a commercial; ethical National Account Manager who wants to join a great team and led by 2 really strong managers in Maria and Eddie, then this is a must for consideration and as mentioned, there is a lot of flex given to hybrid working/ remote working. ** To be considered for this role; you must have at least 4- 5 years FMCG national accounts experience- this is a must have requirement for the position.
