This is a remote position focused on building scalable, production-ready applications for our global clients. About the Role As a Full Stack Engineer in the RocketDevs network, you'll be matched to client projects where you'll own the development of modern web applications across both frontend and backend systems. Client projects range from building high-performance SaaS platforms serving thousands of users, to integrating AI-powered workflows into customer-facing products, to architecting scalable APIs and real-time systems for fast-growing startups. You’ll collaborate with product teams, designers, and other engineers to deliver reliable, user-focused software from concept to deployment. Must Have High technical skills in: Frontend development using modern frameworks like React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript Experience with UI state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Pinia, Context API, or equivalent) Backend development experience in at least one of the following: Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI), Go (Gin, Fiber, Echo), Rust (Actix, Rocket), Ruby (Ruby on Rails, Sinatra), Java (Spring Boot, Micronaut, Quarkus), PHP (Laravel, Symfony), C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core, Blazor), C++ (Wt, Drogon), or Node.js (Express, NestJS). Experience building and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs Solid understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, session-based auth, RBAC) Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or equivalent) Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows and collaborative development practices Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent) Understanding of application performance optimisation, debugging, and scalability Comfort deploying and maintaining applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, Vercel, or equivalent) A deployed project is required: You must be able to share at least one deployed application (personal, freelance, startup, or professional project) that: Was used by real users or customers Can be explained clearly: what problem it solved, your contributions, and the scale it handled Nice to Have Experience with Kubernetes, Supabase, or serverless platforms Familiarity with AI tools or APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.) Experience integrating LLMs, embeddings, vector search, or AI-powered workflows Familiarity with AI frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex Experience with real-time technologies (WebSockets, Socket.IO, streaming systems) Understanding of cloud cost optimisation and application monitoring Experience with testing frameworks and automated QA workflows Exposure to microservices or distributed system architecture Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, or Copilot Our Hiring Process We built this process to be the most signal-rich, fairest, and transparent vetting experience you'll encounter.
