Job Description This is a remote position. Medical Biller Join a dynamic, growth-oriented behavioral health organization seeking to strengthen its financial operations through smart, detail-driven support! In this important role, you’ll help maintain accurate records, support timely reconciliations, and contribute to clean, compliant insurance submissions across multiple states. What You'll Do: Audit billing and payroll entries in the practice management system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to claim submission. Identify and correct billing discrepancies, including session time conflicts, missing mileage, and inaccurate timesheets, by coordinating with clinical and administrative staff. Post and reconcile insurance and private-pay payments, ensuring all entries align with EOBs and internal records. Communicate with internal staff, including behavior technicians and analysts, to clarify and resolve issues related to billing and payroll. Assist with month-end reconciliation and reporting to support financial accuracy and transparency. Maintain well-organized, accurate financial records for billing and payroll activities to ensure audit readiness and efficient operations. Support additional administrative duties as needed, with room to expand responsibilities based on performance and growth. Adaptable: Willing to take on evolving responsibilities and grow with the role as company needs expand. Experience: Experience in U.S. medical billing is required.
