Job Title: MBA Consultant, Pricing & Revenue (BloomNet) Location: Jericho, NY (On-site/4 days in office, 1 day remote) Compensation: $35–$45 per hour Position Overview BloomNet, part of the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. family of brands, is seeking a highly motivated MBA candidate or recent graduate to support a 10-week strategic project focused on pricing and fees for our local shop network. This role will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to conduct research, analyze business data, and develop insights that inform strategic recommendations. This position is ideal for a current MBA student looking to gain hands-on consulting or corporate strategy experience while contributing to a high-impact business initiative. Key Responsibilities Conduct research and analysis related to pricing and revenue strategy Gather and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities Develop strategic recommendations and operational improvement opportunities Create presentations, reports, and executive summaries for leadership stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and validate findings Support project planning, milestone tracking, and deliverable execution Present project findings and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the engagement Currently pursuing an MBA or other postgraduate business degree preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with business analysis, strategy development, consulting projects, or academic consulting engagements Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Ability to translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities within a short-term project environment Preferred Prior experience in consulting, corporate strategy, operations, or analytics Exposure to data visualization tools, financial modeling, or strategic analysis Experience working on academic consulting projects, internships, or strategic initiatives Deliverables Deliver a comprehensive analysis of the pricing and fee structure for the local shop network Provide strategic recommendations and potential implementation considerations Present findings and insights to leadership
