OVERVIEW Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Applications, the Analyst, Solution Design, is responsible for delivering on the mandates of the multi-year digital transformation strategy to support the expansion of extended producer responsibility programs across Canada. The position mandates include SAP S/4 HANA implementation and support, with a focus on understanding business processes and translating these into system requirements. Success comes from collaborating closely with stakeholders from various functional areas to understand requirements, analyze business needs, and propose solutions leveraging SAP S/4 HANA Supply Chain module capabilities. This is a 12-month contract, requiring Full-Time hours and residency in Canada. RESPONSIBILITIES Impart technology consulting expertise and create functional and technical specifications for the delta design, and for the tools needed to support the SAP S/4 HANA conversion. Provide business and functional support on SAP modules, particularly for conversions from legacy SAP systems to SAP S/4 HANA. Assess impact and gaps in the current business processes and configuration for the SAP module vs. the equivalent in SAP S/4HANA and provide alternatives and recommendations on the delta design. Enable the SAP S/4HANA conversion by executing the necessary system configurations. Across all lines of business and global entities, support business and software transformations as part of a multi-year program implementing a new system landscape (SAP S/4 HANA). Participate in full systems development lifecycles, from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training, deployment, and support. Refine and document technical requirements on Procure to Pay processes by facilitating stakeholder meetings, as applicable. Act as a functional expert on integrated business processes related to Material Management and Reverse Supply Chain, collaborating with analysts, architects, developers, product and data experts to solve business problems, ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency. Gather and document system and process requirements, create and maintain documentation and process maps on supply chain processes and projects. Use continuous improvement skills such as process mapping and value stream mapping to drive incremental improvements in processes. Evaluate information from multiple sources, break high-level requirements into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs. Advise on business requirements and solution options, bridging the gap between people, process, and technology. Serve as a liaison between in/external customers and technical teams, builds strong relationships. QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. SAP learning certification is an asset. Experience S/4 HANA implementation experience is required. 5+ years of related work experience including senior business analyst and/or project lead roles. 5+ experience and proficiency in SAP MM/Supply Chain Module is required. Demonstrated experience with integrations between SAP modules, particularly SD, MM and FICO Capability to execute complex assignments and projects with minimal direction. Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Ability to articulate design concepts and solutions verbally and in written documentation. Proficiency in process mapping methodology and use of Visio or Lucidchart. Ability to demonstrate understanding of end-to-end business process of record to report Experience with CRM applications is an asset. Experience managing tasks through JIRA and Confluence. Personal Attributes Advanced professional level written and oral communication skills, able to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. Excellent coaching, listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities. Can effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Adept at working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment while being highly self-motivated and autonomous. WORKING CONDITIONS All CM employees work 40 hours per week, remotely from a Canadian home office environment. PAY TRANSPARENCY Expected Compensation : An annual base salary in the range of $75,000 to $95,000. The salary range listed complies with the Ontario Employment Standards Act and reflects a potential base salary range for this role. The actual salary offered will be determined within the range, and will depend on factors, such as the candidate’s unique qualifications, relevant experience, work location and expected contributions.
