Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Remote Marketing Data Analyst for our Federal Government client.

Position Summary:
The resource will provide analytical and data support for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Marketing Analytics initiative, helping the client strengthen the quality, usability, and governance of marketing data used for campaign execution, reporting, and decision-making. The role will support the transition to SFMC by working across business and technology teams to assess data sources, validate data structures, identify quality issues, and help ensure that marketing data is accurate, complete, and fit for operational and analytical use.
This service includes documenting business and data requirements, supporting data profiling and analysis activities, and contributing to the development of practical governance and reporting approaches that enable trusted insights within the marketing ecosystem. The resource will be expected to work in a highly collaborative environment, translating business needs into clear data requirements and helping build a strong foundation for sustainable analytics, governance, and ongoing optimization of SFMC-related data processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• The resource will be responsible for analyzing marketing and customer data, profiling datasets, documenting data definitions and business rules, and identifying data quality issues that could affect reporting, segmentation, campaign execution, or downstream decision-making.
• This includes gathering and clarifying requirements from business stakeholders, working with technical teams to understand source systems and data flows, and supporting the development of governance practices that improve consistency, traceability, and confidence in the data used across the SFMC environment.
• The role will also support cross-functional coordination by helping align business, analytics, and technology stakeholders on data requirements, priorities, and deliverables related to SFMC Marketing Analytics.
• The resource will contribute to documentation, validation, and issue resolution activities; support the preparation of governance and reporting artefacts; and help ensure that implemented data structures and processes are practical, well-documented, and aligned with broader enterprise data management expectations.

Compensation:
Salary Range: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
