!IMPORTANT! ONLY APPLICANTS FILLING THIS FORM WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION! https://forms.gle/pUpycTRefpZoT6iy9 About us We're a marketing agency with clients across the US, Singapore, India, the UK, Israel, and Dubai. A few names you might know: Ketch, Darwinbox, Petpooja, Sprinto, Webengage, Zluri and GoKwik. What we actually do: help high-growth B2B SaaS companies with marketing that works. You'd be working directly with our Head of Product Positioning and Messaging, helping out across copy, Reddit, video, and our own marketing. A little bit of everything, basically. Pay & Perks We've included this first because we know you want to read this first! We're offering a starting pay of INR 4.2 LPA . Additionally, you also get: Insurance Faster salary revision cycles Monthly stipend for upskilling via books, courses, etc. Team dinner reimbursements (we have these every month) Note: We acknowledge that the market is competitive and we want to create a fast-growth and fulfilling environment for our talented workforce, which is why our promotion system is unique and extremely performance-oriented. If you keep proving yourself to us with your work, you will NOT have to wait for an entire year to get promoted! The Role This is a full-time remote role . Read this part extra carefully. Some days you'll do the exact same thing you did yesterday. Some days you'll do something you've never done before. Honestly, you won't always know which kind of day it's going to be when you wake up, and that's genuinely the fun of it. The work is mostly writing (marketing writing, obviously), a lot of research on clients and their industries (not kidding, it’s really a LOT) and a little bit of admin here and there. Here's the honest filter though: we're a startup , and there's no neat checklist sitting around waiting for you (you're very welcome to build one, we'll love you for it). If you need a fixed routine with everything mapped out to do your best work, you'll probably be miserable here, and that is completely okay. But if you're the kind of person who likes variety, gets curious about random new topics, and is happy figuring things out as you go, you'll have a really good time. You'd be the right hand to someone who moves fast and juggles a lot of slightly random things. Your job is to take whatever lands on your plate and run with it (not run away, just run). What we'd want you to already get How B2B SaaS works, broadly How to write clearly, for marketing purposes (like reddit comments, short blurbs for blogs) Google Workspace How to research something from scratch and get useful, fast (you can use AI to research, but you also need to actually understand what the research says) The stuff that actually matters These matter more than everything above. We're not just listing them to list them: You can write. You don't need to be a specialist copywriter or a content person. You just need to know how writing for marketing works. And if you do know how copy works, even better. You pick things up fast. Hand you a niche topic (privacy compliance, financial reconciliation, whatever it is) and you can get your head around it well enough to write about it. You own your stuff. Once something's yours, it's yours. We don't chase you, you don't go quiet when you're stuck, and you flag problems early instead of late. You like switching gears. Bouncing between different kinds of work in a day sounds fun to you, not exhausting. (It's not always like that, but it happens, and we'd rather you knew.) You've got good instincts. You can tell the difference between sounding like a real person and sounding like spam, and you stay on the right side of it. You'll click with us. We work closely, we give honest feedback, and we get comfortable with each other fast. Work isn't just work for us, we actually have fun with it, and we like keeping it that way. What you'll need on paper A Bachelor's degree 1+ years working in or around B2B software You've written something for marketing before. Ad copy, long-form blogs, anything counts. US English Culture Growth mindset: We try to get a little better all the time. Partnership: This is something we're building together, not somewhere you just work for someone. Goal-driven: A lot of our personal goals line up with Spear Growth's. We hit both together. Ownership: We actually own our work, and we make it easy for each other to do well. Fun and inspiring: We like being around people who make us better. (This is also why we don't onboard toxic clients.) We have monthly team dinners! The whole team gets together, we eat, play games, and occasionally someone tells ghost stories (okay, it's one guy, and we just somehow put up with him. xD) No corporate BS. Other Information Work timings: The whole team works between 12 PM and 7 PM IST. Outside that, as long as you're hitting your deadlines, you can work whenever suits you. There may be the odd exception when US clients are involved. Once in a while you might need to work later in the day or over a weekend. Realistically, that's been about one weekend a month. You'll set your own realistic deadlines, and then you'll hit them. We'll train you across marketing strategy and all our channels, so you can work well with the rest of the team. Come work with us. We'll make sure you grow as a marketer and actually enjoy the work.
