About the Role The Customer Proposition Manager/ Senior Manager for Medical Products is a pivotal, commercially focused role responsible for the financial success and strategic direction of our Health and Medical Product Portfolio (e.g., hospitalization, outpatient benefits). This individual ultimately owns the Profit & Loss (P&L) contribution by driving end-to-end strategy and solid execution across the entire customer lifecycle. This role requires the utilization of health and medical data and customer research to shape propositions that effectively address patient needs and fulfill our brand promises in the medical space. Your Key Responsibilities Include: 1. End-to-End Customer Strategy Medical Portfolio Strategy: Define and own the 1-2 year strategy and roadmap for the Health and Medical Portfolio, ensuring initiatives address healthcare trends, cost containment, and enhance the value of virtual care within the proposition. Customer Lifetime Value Ownership: Oversee the entire customer journey = (Acquisition/Engagement/ Retention) to maximize Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), focusing heavily on medical engagement drivers and claims experience Subject Matter Expertise: Keep abreast of the trends of medical insurance and healthcare eg medical inflation and claim utilization rates, etc Provide product training to elevate the insurance literacy internally 2. Data-Driven Medical Proposition Shaping and Experimentation Pain Point/ Customer Needs Identification (Health Focus): Utilize data (claims data, health reports, engagement metrics) and customer research to identify pain points related to accessing care, managing chronic conditions, and submitting claims Feature/Product Shaping and Optimization (Medical): Shape and optimize medical insurance-related features (e.g., wellness programs, digital health tool integration, hospital rider) with robust data support to strengthen the competitive proposition and encourage proactive health management Experimentation and Launch: Come up and run proposition-level experiments (e.g., changes to deductible/copay structures, benefit communication) to validate hypotheses and rapidly iterate the medical value provided to the customer 3. Stakeholder Management Manage complex stakeholder relationships across Medical Practitioner, Underwriters, TPA/Hospital Networks, Legal, and Compliance to gain consensus and resources for medical proposition changes. Work closely with the insurance product team, marketing team, and platform to launch the proposed features.
