Position Summary The Manager – Capacity, Resource & Demand Management plays a critical role in enabling Digital Technology leadership to make informed investment, prioritization, and staffing decisions across the enterprise portfolio. This role is responsible for managing demand intake, resource planning, capacity forecasting, workforce analytics, and time tracking governance across a globally distributed Digital Technology organization. The successful candidate will provide visibility into current and future resource demand, identify capacity constraints, support portfolio prioritization decisions, and ensure accurate workforce utilization reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with enterprise resource planning and capacity management tools, and the ability to work across business, technology, finance, and PMO stakeholders. Location: Bangalore, India Function: Digital Technology (DT) PMO / Portfolio Management Office Key Responsibilities Demand Management & Intake Governance Support and administer the DT demand intake process across Run, Grow, and Transform initiatives. Validate incoming demand requests for completeness, business justification, resource requirements, funding, and prioritization criteria. Partner with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), PMs, Product Managers, and Portfolio Leaders to maintain an accurate demand pipeline. Produce executive-level demand reporting and analytics. Capacity & Resource Planning Develop and maintain enterprise resource capacity models across global teams. Analyze resource availability, utilization, and forecasted demand across internal and external resources. Identify capacity bottlenecks, skill shortages, and resource constraints. Support workforce planning across the U.S., Canada, India, Poland, and other global delivery locations. Conduct scenario planning and "what-if" analyses to support leadership decision-making. Assist with skills-based planning initiatives and workforce optimization efforts. Portfolio Analytics & Reporting Create dashboards and reports that provide visibility into: Resource utilization Capacity versus demand Portfolio staffing health Project allocation trends Forecasted resource requirements Develop executive presentations and portfolio insights for leadership reviews. Support portfolio planning cycles, quarterly reviews, and annual operating planning processes. Time Tracking & Workforce Management Administer and support DT time tracking processes and compliance. Monitor time entry accuracy, completeness, and adoption across the organization. Analyze labor utilization and allocation data to improve planning accuracy. Partner with Finance, HR, and PMO teams to ensure labor reporting aligns with project funding and financial governance requirements. Produce workforce utilization and labor reporting for leadership and audit purposes. Process Improvement & Tool Administration Drive continuous improvement of resource management, capacity planning, and time tracking processes. Support implementation and optimization of enterprise portfolio and workforce planning tools. Maintain data quality standards and governance controls. Assist with AI-enabled planning, predictive analytics, and workforce intelligence initiatives. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred. Experience 10+ years of experience in Capacity Planning, Resource Management, Workforce Planning, PMO Operations, Portfolio Management, or related disciplines. Experience supporting large enterprise Digital Technology organizations with 500+ resources. Experience working within global and matrixed organizations. Proven experience supporting portfolio planning, demand management, and resource forecasting processes. Required Tool Experience Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with multiple enterprise resource and capacity management platforms, including several of the following: Planview Portfolios Planview AdaptiveWork ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Microsoft Project Online / Project Server Clarity PPM Jira Advanced Roadmaps Workday Resource Planning SAP Resource Management Primavera P6 Smartsheet Resource Management Tempo Planner Power BI Tableau Microsoft Excel (Advanced Modeling) Experience supporting enterprise time tracking solutions is strongly preferred. Experience supporting globally distributed delivery organizations and Global Capability Centers (GCCs). Exposure to AI-driven planning, forecasting, and workforce optimization tools.
