Your Role in Supporting Our Members: As a Manager, Agile Delivery , you will play a critical leadership role in enabling meaningful member and business outcomes by building and leading a high-performing team of Scrum Masters and coaching cross-functional delivery pods. You will ensure consistent, effective agile delivery practices, strengthen delivery predictability and flow, navigate complex dependencies and risks, and continuously improve delivery performance while maintaining alignment with Vancity’s governance and delivery framework. We’re looking for a collaborative, experienced agile leader who thrives in complexity, builds trusted relationships, and is passionate about developing people and teams. This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Director, Delivery Practice . Our head office is based in Vancouver, but we are open to candidates in BC and Ontario. While this position is for an existing vacancy and provides a remote work arrangement, you will be expected to be on‑site for events and business demands. How You'll Make an Impact: Leading, recruiting, developing, and coaching a team of Scrum Masters supporting cross-functional agile pods Coaching delivery teams and pod leaders to strengthen agile practices and increase member and business value Managing cross-pod and external dependencies by identifying risks, assessing impacts, and communicating options to senior leaders Upholding and embedding the Vancity Agile Delivery Methodology to ensure consistent ways of working Building strong, trusted relationships with product, technology, and business leaders to influence delivery outcomes Supporting the establishment and launch of new delivery pods, including scope clarification, backlog shaping, and delivery routines Facilitating and modelling effective agile ceremonies through coaching and continuous improvement Analyzing delivery metrics and health indicators to improve predictability, quality, flow, and time to market Fostering a high-performing, inclusive team culture grounded in trust, accountability, and engagement Navigating ambiguity across the portfolio and coaching others to clarify outcomes, success criteria, and use cases What You’ll Bring to the Team: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 7 years of experience working in agile delivery environments, with progressive leadership responsibility 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching and developing Scrum Masters or agile practitioners Strong experience leading cross-functional agile teams within complex, regulated environments Demonstrated expertise in agile delivery frameworks, coaching practices, and delivery governance Proven ability to manage dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations across portfolios Agile-related certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Agilist, ICAgile, or similar Extra Skills That Set You Apart: Experience working within enterprise portfolio or program delivery environments Strong change management and organizational agility experience Advanced experience using delivery metrics to drive continuous improvement You’ll Thrive Here If You Are: A people ‑centric leader – you build trust, develop talent, and foster inclusive, high-performing teams. What You’ll Earn: This role offers a salary range of $116,500 to $143,850 per annum . The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
