We’re now looking for a Management Accountant (FTC) to join our Finance team, partnering with colleagues across the business to deliver accurate, timely and insightful financial information. The role This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced Finance function, acting as a Management Accountant and supporting core accounting and reporting activities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial processes are delivered accurately and to deadline, whilst building strong working relationships across the organisation. Key responsibilities Accounting & Financial Reporting Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including reconciliations and supporting schedules Assist with annual financial statements and external audit requirements Prepare and support accruals, prepayments, revenue and expense processes Reconcile allocated general ledger accounts, including suspense accounts Prepare and post routine journal entries with appropriate back-up Support VAT, interest and hedge accounting processes Assist with regulatory and periodic reporting requirements Analysis & Reporting Produce and support financial and management reporting packs Assist with financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting Provide insight to stakeholders to support decision-making Business Partnering & Team Support Work collaboratively across Finance and the wider business Support colleagues with both routine and ad hoc activities Maintain accurate financial data and documentation What we’re looking for Knowledge & Experience Part-qualified (ACCA/AAT) or qualified by experience Proven experience working within a financial accounting or reporting environment Strong understanding of UK GAAP principles Experience preparing financial reports and analysing data Skills & Behaviours Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organisation and ability to meet tight deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving capability Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively A proactive, adaptable approach with a continuous improvement mindset Desirable Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems Degree or equivalent qualification We’re committed to providing reasonable adjustments or accommodations for applicants, so if you need assistance or support during the recruitment process, please let us know on the application form or by sending an email to [email protected] If you're made an offer of employment you'll be required to prove your eligibility to work in the UK before you start work.
