This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a LN System Developer/Architect based in the United States. This role is a key technical leadership position focused on designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise ERP solutions within a complex, mission-critical environment. The LN System Developer/Architect will play a central role in shaping and maintaining Infor LN architecture supporting manufacturing, finance, supply chain, and operational systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and data teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing ERP solutions. The role combines deep hands-on development with architectural ownership across integrations, data flows, and system governance. It is ideal for someone who thrives in highly regulated, fast-paced environments requiring precision, compliance, and technical depth. You will also contribute to ERP modernization efforts, ensuring stability, scalability, and continuous improvement across the platform ecosystem. Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain customizations, extensions, and configurations within Infor LN using LN Tools (4GL/BL, sessions, forms, DALs, and reporting capabilities). Build and support integrations between Infor LN and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HR, finance, and analytics tools) using ION, APIs, and BODs. Translate business requirements into technical architecture and ERP process designs while supporting roadmap definition and system evolution. Manage ERP development lifecycle activities including unit testing, integration testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support. Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for system issues, resolving incidents related to integrations, batch jobs, and data flows. Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory standards (including SOX, NIST, CMMC, and ITAR) while maintaining documentation and audit readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Data, and Engineering) to optimize ERP performance and data integrity. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of hands-on experience with Infor LN (or Baan IV/V with LN migration experience). Strong expertise in LN Tools (4GL/BL programming, DALs, sessions, forms, reports) and SQL (SQL Server or Oracle). Experience with Infor ION, ION API, BODs, and Infor OS platform services in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of ERP lifecycle management, including development, release, and production support processes. Experience in manufacturing, aerospace & defense, or regulated industries with exposure to compliance frameworks is highly preferred. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex system and integration issues under pressure. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively across teams.
