Job Description - Licensed Practical Nurse - USFTGP Dermatology (260000T2) Job Description Licensed Practical Nurse - USFTGP Dermatology - ( 260000T2 ) Description Works under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician. Assists staff, providers, residents, and medical students with patient care, clerical, and organizational tasks using a team-based approach in providing patient care. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the care services. May be assigned to specific medical specialty (e.g., surgery, cardiology, neurology) to help with patient care related to that specialty or may be expected to cross-cover multiple specialties. Works closely with supervisor to assure responsibilities defined below are fulfilled in a timely manner. Qualifications Required: Licensed Practical Nurse Training Program - Required State Licensure as an LPN - Required Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) / Automated External Defibrillator (AED) - Required Work Experience and Additional Information • 6 months experience in a clinical role in a healthcare facility • Demonstrated competency ins BLS & AED within first 90 days - Preferred Key Accountabilities • Assess physical condition (vital signs/measurements) & nursing needs, prepare patient and assist provider in developing a plan of care to allow for an efficient and complete patient visit • Perform patient care activities (ie. phlebotomy functions, EKGs) according to the clinical scope of practice for LPNs to provide the highest quality of clinical outcomes • Ensure exam room/work area is clean & safe, equipment is maintained, & exam rooms are stocked for the next patient • Perform pre-visit and post-visit documentation to provide adequate care and complete records • Complete inventory management of supplies to ensure exam areas are fully stocked and functional • Participates in care team huddles to collaborative care is given to each patient on every visit • Maintains overall patient experience and safety, following all emergency clinical policies and protocols, to allow for optimal experience of care Primary Location : Tampa Work Locations : USF Health Morsani Center AHC 13330 USF Laurel Dr. Tampa 33612 Eligible for Remote Work : On Site Job : Nursing (LPNs, RNs) Organization : Academic Medical Group Inc Schedule : Full-time Scheduled Days : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Shift : Day Job Job Type : On Site Shift Hours : 8:00am - 4:30 pm Minimum Salary : 44,491.20 Job Posting : Feb 27, 2026, 3:49:48 PM
