Recruitment Consultant - US & UK Legal Recruitment (Remote - South Africa) Fully Remote | South Africa About Wicker Hamilton Wicker Hamilton is a specialist legal recruitment firm operating across the UK and US legal markets, partnering with leading international law firms and in-house legal teams across a broad range of practice areas. We are launching our first South African team and are looking to hire two experienced Legal Recruitment Consultants to work directly alongside our UK operation. This is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning of our South African expansion and play a key role in building the business locally. As one of our first hires, you will have significant visibility, responsibility and the opportunity to grow alongside the company. The Role You will focus primarily on the US legal market, with particular emphasis on the East Coast , alongside selected UK mandates, working with both leading law firms and in-house legal teams. Responsibilities will include: Managing relationships with lawyers, legal teams and law firms across the US and UK Working on high-value retained and contingent legal recruitment assignments Identifying, engaging and managing senior legal talent throughout the recruitment process Building long-term candidate and client relationships Supporting business development initiatives Helping establish and grow Wicker Hamilton's South African presence Working Hours: Monday to Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm South Africa time These hours are designed to provide significant overlap with both the UK and US East Coast legal markets, where the majority of our clients and candidates are based. About You We are specifically looking for individuals who: Have a minimum of 1 year of legal recruitment experience Have recruited within either private practice, in-house legal, or both Are based in South Africa and have the unrestricted right to work Can engage confidently with lawyers and senior legal professionals Are commercially driven, ambitious and self-motivated Thrive in a fully remote, entrepreneurial environment Why Join Wicker Hamilton?
