Employment type: Full-time and permanent About the role We’re looking for a Legal Operations Specialist to build and scale the operational backbone of Verda’s legal function. This is a foundational role where you’ll design systems, processes, and tooling largely from scratch, helping the business operate efficiently as we grow across jurisdictions, teams, and product lines. You’ll work closely with Legal, Finance, Compliance, IT, Procurement, and commercial teams to ensure legal requests, contracts, approvals, and external counsel relationships are managed consistently and at scale. This is a highly cross-functional role suited to someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys bringing structure to ambiguity. You’ll play a key role in enabling Verda’s growth by building scalable legal operations infrastructure that supports commercial velocity while maintaining strong governance and risk management standards. Your key competencies Must-Haves 3+ years of experience in legal operations, business operations, management consulting, procurement operations, or a closely related function Demonstrable experience designing and implementing operational processes and workflows in fast-paced or high-growth environments Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems and legal technology tools Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently Hands-on experience with software implementation and rollout, including configuring tools, driving adoption, and delivering internal training programmes to cross-functional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical guidance High level of ownership, attention to detail, and operational judgment Comfortable working cross-functionally with legal, technical, commercial, finance, and compliance teams Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and build scalable structures from the ground up Preferred Experience in a technology, SaaS, AI, infrastructure, or high-growth company environment Experience implementing or administering CLM, e-signature, or workflow automation platforms Familiarity with AI-assisted contract review, drafting, or legal workflow tooling Experience managing external vendors, procurement processes, or operational budgets Background in legal services, paralegal work, or in-house legal support is advantageous but not required Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional operations or international expansion efforts What's next We're building fast and this role needs the right person behind it.
