PROTEGRA is a consulting firm specializing in legal and compliance support for the crypto industry. We provide CASP licensing services, sell ready-made VASP companies, recruit key personnel, streamline business processes, and address the full range of challenges crypto companies face.

The Role

We are looking for a Legal Expert who will:

• lead CASP licensing applications and manage authorization processes with competent authorities across EU member states,
• draft compliance documentation including governance arrangements, internal controls, risk management systems, and AML/CTF procedures,
• design and implement AML/CTF policies aligned with MiCA requirements,
• advise clients on corporate structuring, cross-border entity establishment, and organizational requirements,
• coordinate with regulators, financial authorities, MLROs, and compliance officers,
• support compliance assessments and risk evaluations to verify MiCA alignment.

This is a full-time role, primarily remote with occasional travel for client meetings and regulatory interactions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of legal practice in crypto regulation, CASP licensing, and MiCA compliance across EU jurisdictions.
• Hands-on experience managing CASP licensing applications from documentation through regulatory approval.
• Deep knowledge of MiCA governance, organizational requirements, and prudential standards.
• Proven expertise in drafting AML/CTF policies and compliance frameworks.
• Experience working directly with financial regulators and competent authorities.
• Strong background in corporate law and cross-border business structuring.
• Fluent English (C1 level); additional EU languages (German, Spanish, French) are advantages.
• Authorized to work in the EU.
• Ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines on multiple complex projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
