About the Position: US Company based in Managua is looking for an English-speaking Attorney to provide legal services, who will provide essential legal and administrative support, ensuring the smooth execution of patent filings, compliance processes, and client communications. This role bridges the gap between attorneys, clients, and regulatory bodies, contributing to the overall efficiency of legal operations. Job Responsibilities: Document Preparation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and filing patent applications and legal correspondence. Deadline Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with filing deadlines and procedural requirements. Client Support: Provide support to attorneys and senior paralegals in client communications, coordinate routine client requests, and assist in the preparation and delivery of legal work product. Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring that filings are prepared in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Database Management: Maintain and update records in the patent management system. Research: Conduct legal research to support attorneys in complex cases and support the strategy team in researching patent-related matters, attorney performance, and other key metrics. Reporting: Prepare IP reports, including Portfolio Health Reports (PHR), Portfolio Assessments, Jurisdictional Analyses, and Monthly Docket Reports. Meeting Support: Assist with the preparation of meeting materials and distribute summaries of action items, key discussions, and next steps following internal meetings. Operational Support: Provide support in the review and processing of invoices from vendors and foreign associates providing legal services, and assist in the coordination with legal solutions providers and other external service providers as needed.
