Leasing Operations Coordinator

About the role

Nooklyn runs leasing operations across NYC residential buildings, and this role is the operational backbone behind that work. You’ll take a building from preparation through launch to live performance, making sure listings are accurate and optimized, processes run cleanly, and the leasing team has the structure, assets, and data they need to close.

It’s a high-ownership, remote coordination role: detail-heavy, systems-minded, and central to how the team performs. 

Responsibilities

The role spans six areas of ownership. Across all of them, you’re the person who keeps things accurate, organized, and moving.

Listing & Marketing Operations

Getting units to market, looking their best, and performing once live.

• Own listings end-to-end across major rental platforms — setup, accuracy, and ongoing optimization.
• Coordinate photography and visual assets, and maintain a clean, well-structured asset library.
• Keep live listings fresh and competitive, adjusting strategy as the market moves.

Pricing & Market Analysis

Making sure units are priced to move at the right number.

• Build and maintain rent rolls and pricing models from building plans and layouts.
• Run market comparables and translate them into clear pricing recommendations.

Documentation & Deal Coordination

Keeping the paperwork side of leasing fast, accurate, and standardized.

• Manage leasing documentation, application requirements, and approval workflows.
• Coordinate guarantor and third-party approval processes, with clear ownership and handoffs.
• Organize and standardize deal records so nothing slips.

Systems & Workflow Setup

Building the operational infrastructure the leasing team runs on.

• Configure team inboxes, leasing tools, and CRM systems for each launch.
• Design and maintain checklists, trackers, and repeatable workflows.

Performance & Reporting

Turning operational data into something leadership can act on.

• Maintain leasing data and keep it reliable.
• Monitor performance trends and surface insights and recommendations.

Vendor & Team Coordination

Keeping the right people and partners aligned and on schedule.

• Coordinate vendors — photographers, staging, and others — including budgets and invoicing.
• Follow up with agents on leads, tours, and applications, and partner with finance and property management.

Who we are looking for

Must have:

• Exceptional organization and attention to detail — you keep many moving parts accurate and on schedule.
• Intermediate-to-advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, and reliable overlap with NYC business hours.
• Comfort coordinating across leasing, finance, property management, and external vendors.

Strongly preferred (not required):

• Experience in real estate operations, leasing coordination, or project management.
• Familiarity with US rental marketing and leasing platforms.
