The team values ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement, and is looking for a GTM Engineer / Lead Generation Specialist to support lead sourcing, outbound operations, and workflow automation across multiple client campaigns. About the Role We are seeking a highly technical GTM Engineer / Lead Generation Specialist to join a fast-growing outbound growth agency. This role is responsible for building high-quality prospect lists, supporting outbound email campaigns, managing lead generation workflows, and continuously improving campaign performance through automation and experimentation. This is not a traditional SDR or list-building position. We're looking for someone who understands modern outbound infrastructure, enjoys solving complex prospecting challenges, and is comfortable using AI-powered tools, scraping platforms, APIs, and automation workflows to scale results. Responsibilities Lead Generation & List Building Build highly targeted B2B prospect lists that match client ICPs. Source, enrich, validate, and maintain lead databases using Apollo, Prospeo, and other tools. Ensure data accuracy and prevent duplicates against previous outreach and suppression lists. Maintain sufficient lead volume to support active outbound campaigns. Campaign Operations Upload and manage leads within Smartlead. Configure campaigns, sequences, inboxes, schedules, and related campaign settings. Monitor campaign performance, inbox health, deliverability, and infrastructure. Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors when needed. Automation & GTM Engineering Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex to automate repetitive workflows. Build and improve lead generation, enrichment, verification, and scraping processes. Work with APIs, automation tools, and data workflows to improve efficiency and scale. Document successful processes and create repeatable systems. Experimentation & Optimization Run structured tests on audiences, messaging, inbox configurations, and campaign variables. Analyze results and identify opportunities to improve performance. Share learnings and recommendations with the team. Requirements Required Experience 2+ years of experience building B2B prospect lists for outbound campaigns. Strong hands-on experience with Apollo. Strong hands-on experience with Prospeo. Experience launching or managing cold email campaigns. Experience using Smartlead, Instantly, Lemlist, or similar outbound platforms. Understanding of email deliverability, inbox management, and outbound infrastructure. Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar. Strong attention to detail and data quality. Technical Skills Experience with APIs and workflow automation. Experience with web scraping and data enrichment workflows. Familiarity with Apify or similar scraping platforms. Basic scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or similar) is a plus. Experience with GitHub, Supabase, SQL, or related tools is a plus. The ideal Candidate is someone who: Enjoys solving prospecting and lead-generation challenges. Is comfortable working with modern AI tools and automation workflows. Takes ownership and proactively identifies issues before they impact campaigns. Thinks in systems and processes rather than manual tasks.
