Lead CRM Administrator (Salesforce)
The CRM Lead is a hands-on technical and functional leader responsible for the design, administration, and continuous improvement of Global Electronics' Salesforce platform. This role owns the day-to-day health of Salesforce while partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Services teams to ensure the platform drives productivity and supports business goals. This role reports to Director, CRM & ERP Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Ownership: Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator and subject matter expert, managing configuration, user access, data integrity, and system health across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related tools.
- Enhancements & Delivery: Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into Salesforce solutions, including flows, custom objects, validation rules, dashboards, and reports, delivered on time and with minimal disruption.
- User Enablement: Own onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement for Salesforce users. Act as the first line of support for platform questions and issues.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain clean, reliable CRM data. Build and manage dashboards and reports that give leadership clear visibility into pipeline, customer activity, and team performance.
- Integrations & Ecosystem: Manage and support integrations between Salesforce and connected tools (e.g., marketing automation, ERP, CPQ). Partner with technical teams to scope and deliver more complex integration work.
- Roadmap Contribution: Identify opportunities to improve how the business uses Salesforce. Bring forward recommendations and help prioritize enhancements alongside the broader enterprise systems roadmap.
The Ideal Profile:
- The Builder: You don't just maintain the system; you make it better. You're always looking for ways to reduce manual work and improve the user experience.
- The Bridge: You understand business needs and work closely with the Principal, Enterprise Platform Strategy to translate them into the right Salesforce solutions.
- The Owner: You take pride in a clean, well-governed platform. Bad data, broken flows, and unused licenses bother you.
- The Collaborator: You work well across teams and know how to balance competing priorities with limited resources. You partner closely with the NetSuite ERP lead to ensure Salesforce solutions align with the overall systems strategy and systems of record.
Requirements:
- 4–6+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration and configuration experience.
- Strong understanding and experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud; Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and AgentForce a plus.
- Experience supporting requirements discovery, analyzing requirements, and translating them into Salesforce solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (APIs, middleware tools like MuleSoft or similar).
- Strong communication skills, comfortable working with both end users and leadership.
