Position Overview The Key Account Manager (KAM) plays a pivotal role in managing and expanding relationships with Powerfleet’s most strategic customers. Acting as a trusted advisor and primary liaison, the KAM translates client needs into impactful solutions, ensuring long-term partnership success. This role combines account management, business development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver value to clients and drive growth for Powerfleet. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Growth Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and client engagement. Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to assess needs and propose tailored solutions. Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent communication and engagement. Provide product updates, promotions, and opportunities aligned with client business objectives. Contract Negotiation & Management Lead negotiations to secure contracts with mutually beneficial terms. Partner with internal teams to ensure compliance and seamless execution of agreements. Align client requirements with Powerfleet capabilities to strengthen sustainable partnerships. Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with Sales Support, Finance, Warehouse, and Technical teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and service delivery. Track and monitor account activities, installations, and performance metrics. Conduct post-sales follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities. Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement Use data and KPIs to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Define and share processes that enhance customer relationships and streamline internal workflows. Develop account plans that strengthen client relationships and align with long-term growth strategies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics, or related field. Advanced English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking). 5+ years of experience in key account management, ideally in B2B or FMCG industries. Experience managing accounts with monthly turnover of at least MXN 2M and complex organizational structures. Basic knowledge of telemetry and/or logistics. Proficiency with Salesforce, Bitrix, and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
