Achieve ambitious revenue targets, with ownership of a minimum annual business portfolio of ₹2 Crore. Sell value-driven educational concepts and platform-based solutions, rather than traditional book-only offerings. Drive adoption of the company's educational programs, services, and learning solutions by building strong relationships with school decision-makers. Adapt to a service-led, solution-oriented approach by embracing new business models and moving beyond conventional publishing sales practices. Leverage existing relationships and networks within the education ecosystem to generate new business and accelerate market penetration. Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, vendors, booksellers, and channel partners to secure business opportunities efficiently. Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations to school leaders, principals, teachers, educators, and management teams. Successfully introduce and implement new programs and offerings within existing and prospective school accounts. Represent the company professionally and build long-term partnerships that contribute to revenue growth, customer retention, and profitability. Travel within assigned territories as required to support relationship building, business development, and account management activities. Qualifications & Experience 8+ years of proven success in business development, sales, or key account management within the K-12 education sector. Demonstrated track record of generating new business from individual schools, school groups, trusts, educational institutions, and CSR-led education initiatives. Strong network and established relationships with school owners, trustees, principals, academic heads, administrators, distributors, and education stakeholders. Experience selling educational products, services, programs, technology platforms, assessments, learning solutions, or school improvement initiatives. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented startup environment.
