🚀 Opportunity for Junior Data Engineers | International Project | Remote

We are looking for Junior Data profiles to join an international project with a leading telecommunications company in Chile.

🌎 Project Context

The client is building its Lakehouse on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), creating a centralized data platform to support the company’s modernization journey.

The roadmap includes:

✔ Migration of additional data sources;

✔ Data transformation initiatives;

✔ Data provisioning for BI & Analytics;

✔ Future integration with Oracle AI Data Platform (AIDP).

💻 Main Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and troubleshoot data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python and Spark on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI);

• Transform raw telecom data into business-ready datasets;

• Support data provisioning for BI and analytics teams;

• Monitor data quality, investigate production issues and optimize performance/resource usage;

• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders based in Chile, contributing to architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

✅ Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in Data projects (ingestion, transformation, provisioning);

• Strong knowledge of Python;

• Experience with Cloud environments (OCI is a plus);

• Availability to work within the Chilean time zone (Portugal schedule: 12h–21h or 14h–23h depending on DST);

• Spanish communication skills (for Portuguese candidates, fluent Spanish is not mandatory, but conversational level is required);

• Remote work model (located in Portugal).
