We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Jr R&D Technologist to join our New Zealand R&D team, based in Hastings . Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to: Support the development and improvement of new and existing products and processes focusing on time, quality and cost expectations, this includes activities such as: Project feasibility Prototype development New ingredient evaluation & approval product costing Establishing production methods Setting up of factory documentation Supervision of factory trials and commercial production Area of responsibility can include some or all the following: NPD Value Engineering In house or Co-Pack manufacture Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities Provide support to manufacturing, procurement Recipe control – ensure recipes and all other relevant documentation are entered into the data control system in a correct and timely manner Provide progress reports and final reports on time and in the format required. Development of technical product information including BOMs, production methods, label information, ingredient specifications, product specifications and shelf life evaluation Provide technical guidance to support project completion and adherence to business process in partnership with Marketing and other functions. Support growth and cost-saving opportunities for relevant business categories using commercial acumen and specific category knowledge. Provide technical support to Manufacturing and Procurement Provide technical guidance and input to QRMP and other business quality programs. Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs and goals.
